Special Projects
These Projects are ongoing efforts

Skateable Art
Skateable Art
Skateable art is a combination of public art and functional skateable structures, designed to enhance urban spaces while supporting active recreation.
Dual-purpose design: Aesthetic sculptures that are also skate-friendly.Community-driven: Engages artists, skaters, and residents in shared spaces.Revitalizes public areas: Turns underutilized locations into vibrant, interactive destinations.
As “Pro Town, USA,” Greenville has a unique opportunity to integrate skateable art into its urban landscape, further strengthening our legacy in action sports and public art
Skateboards For Hope
With this project we are piggybacking off Skateboards For Hope, an international organization started by our friend Betty Esperanza. Skateboard for hope collects, repairs, and donates skateboards to underserved communities around the world. Used skateboard equipment is also donated to schools and artist so it can be recycled into Arts & Crafts and woodworking. G.S.P. would like to bring this effort to our community in Greenville and the surrounding area. We would also like this campaign to include donating new skateboards annually at Christmas. Even the smallest donating such as a used deck or set of wheels will help with this project.
General Operations
General Operations
At (G.S.P.) we want all our donors to know that when they donate to a project, the money will be spent toward that project. We also recognize that there will be ongoing general operating cost associated with the organization. In the spirit of maximum transparency we have set up this separate fund for donors to help with these cost.
Some of these General Operational cost are things such as the $275 application fee for the registration of the nonprofit with the IRS. Other expected expenses are things such as a tent and tables so we can set up a booth for fundraising events, or business cards and literature for the events, or promotional items like stickers and t-shirts.
